WPStack operates wpstack.online and provides free WordPress plugins and custom WordPress plugin development services. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@wpstack.online.

Scope: This statement applies to this website and our website-based enquiries and plugin-download interactions. A third-party website or service linked from WPStack has its own privacy practices.

2. Information we collect

• Information you provide: name, email address, phone number, project details, message content, and files you choose to attach to a form.
• Plugin-access information: name and email submitted when a plugin download is offered through a form.
• Technical and usage information: IP address, browser/device information, requested pages, timestamps, referring pages, consent choices, and diagnostic or security logs.
• Comments: if comments are enabled and you submit one, the comment data, IP address, browser user-agent, and an email hash that may be sent to Gravatar.
• Cookies and similar technologies: functional preferences and, only where permitted by your consent or applicable law, analytics information. See our Cookie Policy.

3. Why we use information

• to respond to enquiries and take steps requested before entering a service agreement;
• to provide requested plugin downloads, documentation, support, and updates;
• to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and plugins;
• to measure website performance and understand aggregate usage where analytics consent is available;
• to prevent abuse, spam, fraud, and security incidents; and
• to meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

4. Legal bases

Depending on where you live and the activity involved, we rely on consent, steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests such as site security, service improvement, and responding to business enquiries. You may withdraw consent at any time through Cookie Preferences or by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

5. Cookies, analytics, and consent

WPStack uses Complianz to record and apply cookie choices and Site Kit by Google to implement Google Analytics. Non-essential analytics is intended to run only after the relevant consent signal. You can reject or change optional categories at any time through the controls in our Cookie Policy. Browser-based Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals are respected where supported by our consent configuration and applicable law.

6. When information is shared

We may disclose information to service providers that help us host and secure the site, deliver form messages, provide analytics, prevent spam, or support our business. These providers process information under their own terms and, where applicable, on our instructions. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a reorganisation or transfer of the business. We do not sell personal information for money. Under laws that define “sharing” more broadly, you may opt out of non-essential analytics through Cookie Preferences.

7. International processing

WPStack is based in India and serves visitors globally. Information may be processed in India and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use an appropriate transfer mechanism or rely on another lawful basis.

8. Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including providing support, maintaining security records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Enquiry and download-request records are periodically reviewed and deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. Analytics retention follows the configured Google Analytics retention settings. Consent records and technical logs may be kept for the period needed to demonstrate choices and protect the service.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to the law that applies to you, you may have rights to know or access your information; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to processing; receive a portable copy; withdraw consent; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; and complain to a competent data-protection authority. You will not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.

10. Children

WPStack is a business and developer service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can assess and delete it where required.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

We may update this statement when our services, vendors, or legal obligations change. The current version and update date will remain available on this page.
